Rodney Eugene Anden, age 78, passed away at his home in Kemmerer on Saturday, Jan. 6. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, commissary commando and a respected Vietnam Army veteran.
Rodney was born on Sept. 13, 1945, in San Jose, California, the son of Perry Adolph and Margaret Lonzoa Thelin Anden.
Rodney moved to Wyoming from California in the late ’70s. He lived in Wyoming, where he loved spending time in the country with his family and lifelong friends, making memories to be cherished forever.
Rodney is survived by his two sons, Roger Anden and Raymond Anden; his grandson, Rowan; and soon-to-be second grandchild due in April.
He is also survived by his nephews, Randy Anden and Rhett Anden; nieces, Robin Ray and Rachel Moak; and many other close friends.
Rodney will be remembered with love, respect and great stories to share.
Graveside services will be held at a later date with full military honors.
His wishes were to be cremated. Ball Family Chapel of Kemmerer has been entrusted to those arrangements.
