With heavy hearts, we are sorry to announce the passing of the most amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
On Sept. 7, Ernest Glen Christen Jr. went to be with his loving wife, Linda Carter Christen, whom he has missed for many years. Glen was surrounded by his family during his time of passing at Glen Cottage Memory Care Unit in Tooele, Utah.
Glen enjoyed creating many fun memories with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting and always being with his family. Glen retired from FMC Coke Plant in Kemmerer and, soon after, he and Linda became snowbirds traveling to Arizona in the winters where they made many wonderful friends.
Glen is the second oldest out of eight children. Born weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces on Jan. 24, 1939, in Provo, Utah, to Helen and Ernest Glen Sr., he had two sisters and five brothers.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; daughter, Laurie; one sister; four brothers; and his parents.
He leaves behind his daughter, Jenny (Mark) Wright of Stockton, Utah; and two sons, Jeff (Jen) Christen of Kemmerer and Justin (Janea) Christen of Rock Springs; and godson, Chris (Katie) Jacobs of Utah.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his, sister Carolyn (Jr.) Anderson; and brother, David (Joy) Christen.
Glen leaves an empty spot that cannot be replaced and will be loved and missed dearly. A memorial will be planned for family and friends at a later date.
