In loving memory of Joan Wayne Parkes, born Oct. 29, 1930, and passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 16, in Diamondville.
Joan loved the outdoors, camping, kayaking, canoeing and her little dog. She always named her cars like members of the family.
Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, George L. Parkes.
She is survived by her daughter and son, Eileen and George E.; granddaughters, Chelsea and Nikki; a grandson, Zackery; and 10 other grandchildren.
Her sparkling will be missed by all who knew her and, per her wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
