Claudine Ann Damori Bridges, age 57, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 29.

Born in Evanston, Claudine was the youngest of three children and the beloved daughter of Aldo “Primo” Damori and Barbara (Payne) Damori. She grew up in Kemmerer, where she attended local schools and graduated from Kemmerer High School in the class of 1985.

Claudine married the love of her life, Mark Howard Bridges, on April 5, 1986, and together they welcomed a beautiful red-headed daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, on March 17, 1987. The family later moved to Gillette to be closer to family, where Mark worked in the coal mines and energy industry. They were later transferred to Colorado for Mark’s job.

Claudine was a happy and wholehearted homemaker, a creative decorator, a devoted gardener, a master planner but, most importantly, she was the Chief Joymaker. Her talents extended to cooking, crafting, shopping, music and bringing beauty and warmth to every space she touched. She had an unmatched gift for changing the topic of any conversation with grace and humor.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Bridges; daughter, Sarah (Charles) Oldenkamp; sister, Bobbie Rognmoe; brother, Bernie (Bonnie) Damori; and granddaughter, Micah Oldenkamp. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who all adored her.

Claudine was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her father-in-law, Leon Bridges; and her brother-in-law, Jim Rognmoe.

She will be remembered for her joyful heart, generosity and her ability to brighten the lives of those she encountered. A celebration of life for family will be held at a later date.

“For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.” – Jeremiah 31:13
