The Coliform Bacteria and E. Coli presence/absence test is also offered at a cost of $48; the LCD will pay 100% of this cost if you choose to do just the bacteria test.

The LCD will be using an EPA certified lab, Wyoming Analytical Laboratories Inc (WAL), in Rock Springs.   The LCD will take care of all shipping procedures and costs. All you have to do is take the water sample the morning of collection in an approved container provided by WAL and take it to the designated location and time stated below.

Please pre-register by Thursday, Sept. 14, by calling the LCD at 307-279-3256 ext. 4, or you may also email a request to brenda.lazcanotegui@wy.nacdnet.net. You will need to state which test option(s) you want and get your sampling bottles.

The LCD has limited funds for water testing this year. Preference will be given to individuals who have not tested in the last several years, but all requests will be considered until funding runs out.

Sampling kits will be available from WAL, at the LCD office in Cokeville (110 Pine St.) or from the Bank of the West in Kemmerer (801 Pine Ave.).

Water samples will be received only on Monday, Sept. 18, between 8 and 10 a.m. in Cokeville (Cokeville LCD office) and from 10 a.m. to noon in Kemmerer (Bank of the West). If you choose the “Human Consumption” option, you must have a check made payable to Lincoln Conservation District for $75.50 to accompany your water sample.
