Lana Rae Marie Juliette Juvan Davis passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, in La Sal, Utah. Lana was born July 9, 1958, at South Lincoln Hospital in Kemmerer.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 45 years, Steven M. Davis; her children, Jessica M. Sutherland (Jesse Rodriquez) and Joshua Walter Davis; her mother, Lillian Juvan of Kemmerer; sister, Lovette Merhar (John) of Rock Springs; two brothers, Russell Juvan (Julie) of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Cory Juvan; a passel of nieces and nephews; and more unofficially adopted kids than we could count.
Lana adored children, liked most people and loved every animal she met. She was generous, giving and incredibly open-hearted, taking in any who needed help and making sure anyone who needed anything did not go without. Rarely did you leave her house without a full belly and a bag full of gifts!
In lieu of flowers, Lana’s family has asked that you please donate to your local animal shelter or a local hospice center. Lana did not want a service, but a celebration of life will be held this spring.
