Cokeville was part of the Bear Lake Trifecta Marathon held this past weekend with starting points in St. Charles, Idaho, Cokeville, Wyoming, and Laketown, Utah. On Friday, June 16, approximately 349 runners representing 49 states and provinces converged upon Cokeville. Runners had the option to participate in the full- or half- marathon.

Representing Cokeville in this year’s Trifecta were Mike Thompson and Michael Moyes, both of whom ran the full marathon, which took them from the west side of the tracks to the Willis Ranch along the west side road and back.

One dollar from every racer was donated to the Cokeville Police Department for the K9 Fund. Special thanks to organizer Jared Eborn and Extra Mile Racing for bringing this great event to Cokeville. Congratulations to Mike Thompson and Michael Moyes on their participation in the full marathon.
