The Cokeville High School music department, under the direction of Vince Burgoyne, brought home a “Triple Crown” from Music Festival at Star Valley High School on Wednesday, April 24. The Symphonic Band, Mixed Choir and Celebration Choir each earned Superior Ratings. A Festival Concert featuring the Symphonic Band and Mixed Choir was held on Thursday, April 25, in the Cokeville High School Auditorium. The Band performed: “Encanto,” “Down By the Salley Gardens,” “Capstone,” and “Valdres,” The choir performed: “Sanctus! Sanctus!,” “Light of Grace” and “Ngothando,” featuring Bryli Groll on djembe drums, Jack Dayton on congas and Justin Moyes on shakers. (GAZETTE PHOTO/Jan Moody)
