AFTON — The Star Valley Special Olympics were held on Friday, May 3, at Star Valley High School. Each participant competed in four events: spot shot, 10-meter dribble, 1-minute dribble and target pass. Athletes from Cokeville included McCall Murdock and Ben Clark. Both earned medals in all four categories.
McCall earned silver in spot shot, 10-meter dribble and 1-minute dribble. She took gold in the target pass.
Ben earned bronze in the spot shot and target pass, silver in the 10-meter dribble and gold in the 1-minute dribble. Athletes enjoyed cheering for each other along with a pizza party and dancing. It was a wonderful day of competition.
