COKEVILLE — The Cokeville Music Department at Cokeville High School held its annual Pops Concert on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the auditorium. Director Vince Burgoyne with assistant director and accompanist, Nanette Cook, provided a wonderful night of entertainment.

The Junior High Band presented “Sweet Caroline” and “The Bear of the Beatles.” They were followed by the Symphonic Band, who presented “Steal My Girl,” “My Heart Will Go On” and “Coldplay Classics.” The Junior High Choir performed “Newsies (Choral Medley)” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

The Mixed Choir took the stage next with “Rocketman,” playing songs from the motion picture. Senior musicians were featured as soloists: Justin Moyes, Brynn Lyman, Kayson Walker, Avree Thornock, Brooklyn Weaver, Maliyah Thompson, Gavin Weske, Dash Nate and Blaze Plowman.

Choreography for the medley was by Maliyah Thompson. The final group to perform was Celebration with “& Juliet,” with choreography by Brynn Lyman. It was a great night of musical entertainment.
