The South Lincoln Medical Center Health Fair took place on Saturday, Sept. 17.
“It was a success,” said CEO David Ryerse, “well attended and well organized.”
Several hundred people visited the fair in the four hours it was open. In terms of services available, Ryerse said, “Every year is a little unique.” The hospital had offered blood draws prior to the event and results were available at the health fair. Organizers and volunteers highlighted services the organization does, and had several booths from outside groups. These included Intermountain Health Care, Huntsman Cancer Institute, the sheriff’s department, EMS, search and rescue, dermatology and Wyoming Health Fairs, among many others.
