The Panthers traveled to Snake River High School on Friday, Feb. 21, to face the Rattlers in the Snake Pit. The Pit is always a tough place to play, and with a first-place seed on the line for the 1A West Regional Tournament, this was a very important game.

The Panthers took control of the game in the first quarter, up 24-12 at the buzzer. They continued to dominate in the second, bringing the score to 39-20 at the half.

hey seemed to be on their way to a victory, but the Rattlers were not finished yet. They came out on fire in the third and worked their way back to a much smaller deficit, with the Panthers still up 54-46 at the end of three.

The Panthers held it together in the fourth with that margin narrowing at times and were able to hold on for the win, 70-60.

Justin Moyes had a huge 28 points and 7 rebounds. Kayson Walker had 13 points, followed by Dash Nate with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Ammon Hatch had 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Kalob Haderlie pulled down 11 rebounds and Blaze Plowman had 5 rebounds.
