The Kemmerer Operations Mine Rescue Team recently attended a conference hosted by Rocky Mountain Mining Institute in Denver, where the team was awarded. The conference brings teams from the western U.S. and Canada. The team spent four days competing in some intense scenarios. They showed off their skills in first aid, confined space, and high-angle rope rescue, to name a few. The team was made up of 10 out of the 24 team members.
