KEMMERER — The City of Kemmerer held its annual Fly-In and Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Kemmerer Airport, drawing community members for a day of planes, cars — and pancakes.

The event, organized by the city, featured a pancake breakfast hosted by the Kemmerer Rotary Club. Rotary president Jaycee Romrell said the breakfast raised $431 in donations, which will go toward a wetland project near the town’s fishing pond. The club is also working to purchase additional tables and benches for the area.

Approximately 130 people attended the breakfast and fly-in. The Rotary Club offered the meal free of charge, but welcomed donations to support local projects. The Kemmerer Rotary Club currently has 28 members.

The Kemmerer Airport, managed by the city and advised by a joint powers board between the city and county, served as the backdrop for the community gathering.
