Democratic candidates running for the office of Wyoming Governor will be participating in a public debate Thursday, August 2, 2018 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater on the Central Wyoming College campus in Riverton. The public is invited to attend. No signs, buttons, campaign literature or paraphernalia will be allowed in the Little Theater.
All four registered candidates have agreed to participate in the debate. They include Kenneth Casner of Elk Mountain, Michael Green of Rock Springs, Mary Throne of Cheyenne, and Rex Wilde of Cheyenne. The debate is open to the public and will be streamed live at www.wyomingpbs.org. and on facebook.com/wyomingpbs. It will also be broadcast live on WyomingPBS and Wyoming Public Radio Thursday, August 2 beginning at 7 p.m. and will repeat on WyomingPBS Sunday August 5th at 11 a.m.
WyomingPBS Public Affairs Producer Craig Blumenshine will be the debate moderator. Wyoming Public Radio Reporter Tennessee Watson, Riverton Ranger and Lander Journal Publisher Steve Peck, and Mr. Blumenshine will ask debate questions.
