A couple of sasquatches were on hand to pass out candy during the Fossil Basin Chamber of Commerce’s HalloWeekend, held Friday, Oct. 27, at Triangle Park in Kemmerer. There were trunk-or-treats, games and more. The Kemmerer Volunteer Fire Department offered bucket rides, and the local eighth-grade class sold pumpkins and doughnuts to raise money for a trip to Washington, D.C. The weather was chilly for the event, but there was a bonfire in front of the Triangle. There was also a scavenger hunt for kids to find a symbol and collect a signature from participating businesses to earn a prize. (GAZETTE PHOTOS/Rose Capellen)
