In 2024, the Hamsfork Museum received a grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation to assist with the cost of replacing the roof shingles. Although the grant provided essential support, it did not cover the entire cost of the project. The Hamsfork Museum board has been diligently working to secure the additional funds needed to complete this vital restoration effort.

Raising funds for the roof shingles was a challenging and ambitious undertaking, taking over a year to reach its financial target. This achievement was made possible through the collaboration and generosity of many supporters, whose contributions were essential to completing this vital project.
