Cokeville Branch Library held its monthly craft day on Tuesday, Aug. 15. Those attending enjoyed making four small pumpkins just in time to decorate for fall. Thank you, Tracey Whitehead and the staff at the library, for sponsoring this fun event.
St Bartholomew’s Episcopal Community Church sponsored the annual Back to School, School Supply Giveaway on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Fellowship Hall. Every year the church supplies students grades kindergarten through sixth grade, including homeschooled children, with the necessary supplies needed for school. This year, the Hideout Motel joined in and invited the Snow Shack to park by the church and hand out free snow cones to all of the children. Thank you to the church for this wonderful service and to the Hideout Motel for their generosity.
A Sisters in the Park event was held for all the ladies young and not so young on Wednesday, Aug. 16. There was something for everyone with yummy food, fun crafts, yard games and plenty of time for visiting. Special thanks to the Cokeville First Ward Relief Society for hosting this year’s event.
Sydney Nate, daughter of Randy and Pam Nate, and Carter Smith, son of Denny Smith and Holly Smith, were married on Saturday, Aug. 19, in the Idaho Falls Temple. An open house will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31, to celebrate with the newlyweds.
