The Cokeville High School Music Department presented its annual pre-festival concert on Wednesday, April 11, under the direction of Robbie King with Nanette Cook as the accompanist. This concert gave students the opportunity to share their festival pieces with family, friends and community members prior to the District Music Festival this week in Star Valley. The Concert Band performed first with: "Galop," "Yorkshire Ballad" and "Chimney Rock Celebration."
They were followed by the Concert Choir performing "Festival Gloria," "A Red, Red, Rose" and "Goin' Up to Glory." The final group to perform was Celebration with "Save the Last Dance for Me," "What a Wonderful World" and "Come Fly with Me" which featured Katelyn Petersen as soprano and Seth Toomer as tenor.
