COKEVILLE — The Cokeville High School Music Department held a wonderful Christmas Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Community members enjoyed a delightful night of Christmas music.
The junior high band took the stage first, performing “Do You Hear What I Hear” and “A Festival of Carols.”
The symphonic band performed next with “As All the Angels Sing,” “Adeste Fidelis” and “Sleigh Ride.” The junior high choir followed with “Tidings of Comfort and Joy” (with soloist Semisi Uasike-Tarango) “Carol of the Drum” and “Away from the Mistletoe.”
The mixed choir performed next with “Jingle Bells,” “Noel, Sing Noel” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” with special guest performers EJ Pauni and Garrett Hill.
Celebration took the stage next, singing “Home for the Holidays,” You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” (with soloists Kayson Walker, Dash Nate, Ammon Hatch and Justin Moyes), “Carol of the Bells” with Celebration alumni joining them on stage.
The final number for the evening combined all of the groups for one final number “Still, Still, Still.” It was a wonderful presentation. Special thanks to director Vince Burgoyne and accompanist/assistant director Nannette Cook.
