The Panthers made the long trek to Cowley, Wyo., on Friday, Sept. 22, to face the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. It was a very chilly night, but it didn’t rain until the very end of the game.
The Panthers won the game against the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies 26–6.
Brayden Johnson led the defense with 9 tackles followed by Bowen Larson with 7 tackles. Blake Thornock and Wyatt Awtrey each had one interception. Antheny Petersen carried the ball 113 yards and scored three touchdowns.
The Panthers had 261 yards rushing and held the Grizzlies to 33 yards rushing. The Panthers will host the J.V. Red Devils of Evanston on Thursday, Sept. 28, with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m. and will also host the Chiefs of Wyoming Indian High School on Friday, Sept. 29, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m.
