CASPER — The Cokeville High School cheer team traveled to Casper for the State Spirit Championships on Friday, Jan. 24. The girls had a great day, bringing home the championship trophy for 2A Game Day with 91.05 points.
They also came home with second-place honors in the 3A Hip Hop, with 78.825 points. Bringing home the top honors in this event was Lovell with 79 points, edging out the Lady Panthers by just .175.
The ladies were welcomed home with sirens blaring and a welcome committee waiting for them at the gym. Coach Stace Clark was recognized as Coach of the Year in 3A Dance. Congratulations, ladies, on a great weekend!
