Cokeville 4-H Club holds annual awards program

COKEVILLE — The Cokeville Community 4-H Club held its end of year Awards Night on Monday, Oct. 13, at Cokeville Town Hall. This event brings all the Cokeville clubs together for awards and recognition for the 2024-25 4-H year.

President Madi Dayton conducted. Sara Brooks led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by Sagen Keetch with the 4-H Pledge. Minutes for June and July were voted on and approved. A reminder was given that registration is now open for the 2025-26 year on Zsuite. Star Valley will be holding their Halloween Festival on Monday, Oct. 27, at the Fairgrounds.

Elections were held. The new presidency is as follows: Madi Dayton, president; Flint Linford, vice-president; Geneva Murdock, secretary; Bentley McKinnon, treasurer; Whitli Groll, reporter; Myles Dayton, call chair.

The awards program began with talks by Madi Dayton on leadership, Flint Linford on responsibility, Geneva Murdock on teamwork, Bentley McKinnon on service and Kayzden Keetch on goals.

Deborah Peavler followed with individual awards:

Juniors: Mayci Dayton had the “Outstanding Record Book,” Ari Groll received the “100 Points Book,” Makardee Cornia received the “Super Book and Learning,” Kenzi Silva received the “Great First Year Project Book.”

Intermediate: Geneva Murdock had the “Outstanding Record Book,” Maliyah Pauni and Emmitt Groll both received the “100 Points Book.”

Seniors: Flint Linford and Madi Dayton had the “Outstanding Record Book” awards. Kelsi Keetch and Carrie Groll received the Outstanding 4-H Leader Award. Flint Linford was the “Outstanding 4-H Member” and Holli Murdock received the “Friend of 4-H” recognition. Myles Dayton was inducted into the Honors Club.
