KEMMERER — At the Kemmerer City Council meeting on Monday, April 10, new business included a proclamation against child abuse, recited by Mayor William Thek. Thek read a statement in support of the month of April being Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. The City of Kemmerer is one of many organizations that have joined together to advocate the protection of children in Wyoming through intervention, education and outreach.
