CASPER — Cokeville High School attended the 57th Annual Wyoming High School State Art Symposium from April 30 to May 2, in Casper. Out of over 4,600 entries from around the state, Cokeville High School art students returned with five blue ribbons and one First Lady Award.
The following students earned top honors:
• Brenden Hymer, blue ribbon for “Cherry Tree” oil painting
• Nephi Cook, blue ribbon for “Gladiator” charcoal drawing
• Jackson Willis, blue ribbon for “The Best Life” painting
• Kashton Walker, blue ribbon for “Tom” banjo weld
• Daxton Pope, blue ribbon for “It’s a Big’n” weld
• Addison Barnes, First Lady Award for “Scarlett Red” oil painting.
Out of 29 students who entered their work, 13 attended and participated in various fine art activities.
