PUBLIC NOTICE
The Kemmerer-Diamondville Joint Powers Board postponed the public hearing that was to be held in December and will now hold the public hearing on Tuesday, January 11, 2021 at 7 pm in the Kemmerer City Hall Council Chambers, 220 Wyoming Highway 233, Kemmerer. Wyoming before our regular monthly meeting. The purpose of the hearing is to hear public comments on the proposed rate increases to the water and wastewater rates over the next five years beginning in January 2022.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE KEMMERER-DIAMONDVILLE WATER AND WASTEWATER JOINT POWERS BOARD THAT THE FOLLOWING AMENDED SCHEDULE OF WATER AND WASTEWATER DEMAND CHARGES BE ADAPTED EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2022

Base Rates will increase each January 1st beginning January 2022 through and including 2027 at a rate of 1.5% plus an additional percentage equal to the annual Wyoming Cost of Living currently Q4 2020 2.0%. The Joint Powers Board reserves the right to forgo each yearly increase in part or in full as budgeting needs dictate.

Public Notice Review of Request to Amend Uinta Wind, LLC’s Permit DEQ/ISC 18-02 Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Wyoming Industrial Siting Division
Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on September 27, 2021, from Uinta Wind Energy, LLC (Permittee) regarding a modification to this permit related to the Project construction schedule. This schedule has shifted and construction is now expected to begin by the fourth quarter of 2024. This change was driven by a delay in obtaining a power offtake agreement for the project.

Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 18-02. It is the Director’s intention to authorize the change on or about January 29, 2022. The public may review a copy of the proposed amendment at the office of the Industrial Siting Division in Cheyenne, WY or online at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gpBW7XSl90Kh6YgGK_-bCnn9WB6blf22/view?usp=sharing
