Wanda June Lowe, 62, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wedensday, April 24, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 6, 1950, to Sam and Majel Anderson in Ft. Collins, Colo., the second of three daughters.
Wanda graduated from Rawlins High School in 1968 and later attended beauty school. It was in Rawlins that she met her husband, Bernard Lowe, whom she married on Oct. 22, 1971. The two settled down in Kemmerer in 1977, where Wanda stayed home to raise two sons and a daughter. She later went to work at the Frontier Post Office in Frontier, working there for 15 years. After 32 years in Kemmerer, they moved to Lovell in 2009.
She was a lover of all crafts and had great talent for so many things. She will be greatly missed.
Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Ackerson.
She is survived by her parents, Sam and Majel Anderson, of Mills; her husband, Bernard Lowe, of Lovell; children, Kevin (Veronica) Lowe of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; Wayne (Sarah) Lowe of Powell; Sara Yeaman of Lovell; stepchildren, Dan (Deb) Lowe of Craig, Colo.; Diane (Rick) Wisniewsky of Vancouver, Wash.; and many grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 6, at the Lovell Stake Center, East Chapel, at 2 p.m. in Lovell.
