Raymond Kominsky, age 96, passed away at South Lincoln Nursing Center in Kemmerer on Friday, March 22. He was born on Feb. 11 in Frontier, the son of Stanley and Pauline Marie (Kolata) Kominsky.
He married Frances Rolih on Dec. 14, 1940 in Kemmerer.
Raymond was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing, and thought ice fishing was the best. He also enjoyed spending time hunting, being outdoors with the birds and spending time roaming the desert.
Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond Joseph (Sharleen) of Jackson; daughter Karen Margaret Spears of Kemmerer; daughter Mary Elizabeth (Chuck) Ferrarini of Kemmerer; son Dennis Paul (Kathy) of Reno, Nev.; and daughter Ruth Anne (Wes) Miller of Kemmerer.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances Kominsky; four brothers; five sisters; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be recited on Wednesday, March 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Philip Vaske as the celebrant. Interment will follow services at the South Lincoln Cemetery in Kemmerer.
