KEMMERER — Newly re-elected Lincoln County commissioner Kent Connelly was sworn in by Judge Frank Zebre on Monday, Jan. 7, in Zebre’s courtroom.
Despite a strong showing by primary on-ballot and general election write-in opponent Jerry Greenfield, Connelly held on to his commission seat through the November 2012 election.
“Kent is in his third term, so I think he knows what he is getting into,” said Zebre during a brief statement made prior to administering the oath to Connelly.
Several other county employees were on hand to witness the event, after which refreshments were served in the commissioner’s office.
