Gloria F. Ball, 81, passed away on Nov. 8, at the Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs, Wyo.
Gloria was born on May 27, 1931 in Kemmerer, the daughter of Frank H. and Mary (Bozich) Lumbert. She married James M. Ball on January 9, 1954 in Evanston, Wyo. To this union three children were born.
Gloria spent several years working at City Market grocery store in the meat department. She loved to go camping, work crossword puzzles and read. She especially enjoyed bowling, and was very competitive at it. She played on several leagues in Green River throughout the years and enjoyed associating with her teammates and attending competitions.
Gloria had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease her friends. She was a wonderful spouse, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many who associated with her.
Gloria is survived by her husband, James M. Ball, of Green River, Wyo., daughters Lynne Burrola and and Leslie (Rod) Plenge, and son Larry Ball, all of Green River, Wyo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her loving grandchildren, Khristee Powell, of Riverton, Wyo., and Shannon Mares of Green River, and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Jayvin Mares.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank Lumbert, and
one sister, Mary Carotta.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer.
