Once again the Oyster Ridge Music Festival is upon us. Time to pull out your lawn chairs or a cozy blanket and stake your claim in the grass of the Triangle Park.
The music starts up this evening with a Pre-Festival Party at 8 p.m. followed by refreshments at Grumpies.
Vendors are setting up their wares and chefs are firing up their grills to accommodate the hundreds of hungry and thirsty music fans expected to converge on the Triangle this weekend.
Amateur musicians are waiting patiently for their chance to take the stage on Saturday in one of the most popular events around, The Band Scramble.
Athletes are limbering-up their muscles to participate in the Poker Run or the 5K-10K walk or run, both happening on Saturday.
Others are waiting for a chance to “cut a rug” on the cool green lawn of the Triangle.
Musicians and their entourages are already on the road heading our direction.
Fiddlers are resin-ing up their bows and singers are warming up their voices for the state’s largest free music festival, all occurring in and around Kemmerer’s infamous park.
