Lady Panthers improve to 10-1

The Lady Panthers traveled to North Gem on Friday, Jan. 11, to take on the Lady Cowboys of North Gem. This was the second meeting for these two teams. The Lady Panthers can always bank on a very physical game when they are on the home floor of the Lady Cowboys and Friday was no exception. The Lady Panthers were up for the challenge and came away with a big win 63-28.

Tessa Teichert had 15 points for the Lady Panthers followed by Carol Tonga with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Marissa Pope had 12 points and 10 rebounds giving her a double double. Bethaney Briggs had 5 assists and Kaylie Moyes had 4 assists and 5 steals.

On Saturday, the Lady Panthers were host to the Lady Pronghorns of Farson for an important conference match-up. The Lady Panthers again came away with the huge win, 57-34. Teichert had 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Pope had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Briggs had 11 points. Liz Dayton had 5 rebounds and Kaylie Moyes had 4 assists.

Congratulations Ladies on a great weekend. They will be home this week with two more important conference match-ups with the Lady Tigers of Encampment on Friday and the Lady Miners of Hanna on Saturday.
