It was a dream come true for Cokeville’s Tonga

OAKLAND, Calif. — It was a Christmas miracle for Thomas Tonga, son of Etu and Julie Tonga, when he got the opportunity to fulfill his dream of watching his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders, play recently in Oakland, Calif.

Tom has always been a Raiders fan and has fun with many folks around town who like to give him a hard time about his loyalty to the Raiders. He is often seen sporting a Raiders hat, shirt or jacket. On Saturday, Dec. 15, Thomas and his buddies, Wayne Harmon, Brian Toomer and Coach Todd Dayton, flew to Oakland for the Raiders game on Sunday.

According to the group, they enjoyed being together and for Tom, the Raiders’ win was the icing on the cake.
