BIG HORN — The Rangers headed to Big Horn with very high expectations for the first round of the play-offs, but left the field and ended the season crushed, 6-45.

“I think they are very disappointed in themselves over the way they played, “ said Coach Rogers. “We did not perform at the level we are capable.”

Kemmerer struggled both offensively and defensively throughout the game. The offense showed a little more spark during the second half and was able to score a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.

“I think the team realized that just showing up is not enough to win, and we will take this as a lesson learned and apply it to next season,” said Rogers.

“Going into the season I think a lot of people wrote us off from making the playoffs because of the youth and inexperience of the team. The guys really came together and learned a lot on the fly.” Rogers said when asked for a summary of the season. “We won some close games that could have gone either way and battled in some others. I think overall the season was very positive. But we have got to get a foundation built in the weight room for the seasons to come if we want to be successful.”
