The Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest announced that Whiskey Grove and Trails End Campgrounds opened last week on July 16.
The Boulder Lake Campground will open towards the end of next week. The campgrounds have been closed to allow for hazardous tree removal. Boulder Lake Campground has also been closed for renovation with new vault toilets, picnic tables and fire grills being installed.
These improvements were paid for by campground fees that were collected locally.
Firewood is available outside the Whiskey Grove campground for individual use for anyone with a valid firewood permit.
Approximately 130 trees have been stacked, limbed, and cut into eight foot lengths. Firewood permits may be purchased at the Pinedale District office for $5 a cord with a minimum purchase of four cords.
