At Thermopolis last weekend, Kemmerer wrestlers took a second and two thirds.
Keanu Slovernick took second at 103 pounds. JT Cattelan beat the wrestler who had beaten him in the 152-pound quarterfinals to take third, said wrestling coach Darrell Bullingon. Dustin Kruckenberg also took third place.
Both Garth Bieginger and Jesse Schulthess were one match away from placing.
Matthew Endecott took a fifth at 145, and Blake Mastrud made sixth place at 130. “I’m particularly proud of how Blake wrestled,” Bullington said.
Today, the wrestlers dual with Jackson. Tomorrow, they’re home for the Bridgerland Tournament.
