Kemmerer vs. Glenrock has become a game the entire state watches to see where the strength lies in 2A.
This year both teams are replacing a large number of players. Even so, with the same coaches, who consistently put a top team on the field, the season opener in Glenrock was a game to be watched.

Golf takes 5th at White Mtn.

Eleven teams came together on the White Mountain Golf Course for the Rock Springs Invitational Golf Tournament. Ten of those teams were in the 3A and 4A conferences. The Kemmerer Rangers were the only 2A team to participate.

Volleyball coach Blake Peterson would have liked two wins from his first weekend of conference play. Though the Lady Rangers ended up with a split, Peterson still found reason to be pleased.

Boley is Fossil Island Club Champ

Eric Boley shot a 77 at the Fossil Island Club Championships to win the Men's Grand Champion title Saturday, Aug. 29.

Lady Rangers fall in home opener

The Upper Iowa University Peacock Women's Basketball team announced the addition of Jeri Jacobson to the squad for the upcoming academic year.

Swim team’s spirit is strong in first meet

The KHS Girls' Swim/Dive team is small in numbers, but large in spirit.
Coach Greg Gray has 15 girls competing this year.

Rangers to renew rivalry with Glenrock

In three of the last five years the Kemmerer Rangers and Glenrock Herders have played for a state championship. The Rangers won the first two on their home turf. CHEYENNE - Free tickets for the Mountain West rivalry with Air Force at the University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium, on Sept. 25, are available to Wyoming veterans thanks to a joint venture of the University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Veterans Commission.

Ranger golf team took on the big schools

Having polished off 2A last weekend, the Kemmerer Ranger golf team crossed the state to take on the larger schools in Sheridan.
It was a much tougher weekend.
This was the first time the team had played the Kendrick Golf Course in Sheridan. Their opponents were six 4A schools and one 3A.
