Modified: Wednesday, Jan 2nd, 2013

Elizabeth Carolynn Angelo passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, at St. James Healthcare in Butte, Mont.

She was born on June 10, 1949, in Leaksville, N.C., to Phillip and Peggy June (Weadan) Rawlings. At a young age, Elizabeth moved to Wyoming where she attended school and spent most of her life.

She married Joe Angelo III in 1970 in Kemmerer; he preceded his wife in death in 1993.

She had worked for many years as a stores keeper for Utah Power and Light. She moved to the Butte area in 2012.

Elizabeth is remembered for her wonderful expertise in crocheting. She could look at a pattern one time and then re-create it perfectly. She also loved to read.

She is survived by her son, Mike Angelo of Stansbury Park, Utah; her daughter, Jodie (Jerry) Thurston of Butte; her beloved grandchildren Baylee Angelo, Laramie Angelo, Brooklynn Angelo and Damon Thurston; sister Pat (Doug) Burns of Opal; and brother Melvin Rawlings of Opal; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

In keeping with her requests, Elizabeth's remains have been cremated; a family gathering celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

The family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
