Wanda Vane Alexander, 85, passed away peacefully at St. Mark’s Hospital on July 25, 2010 surrounded by all of her children. She passed following a lengthy illness.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1924 in Lucerne, Wyo., daughter of John and Alveretta Kell of Pavillion, Wyo. She was married to A.H. “Speck” Alexander until his death in Sept. 1997.

She is survived by her children, Lyle Moore (Mandy) of Shoshoni, Wyo., Betty Woodard of Elko, Nev., Peggy Lawson of Green River, Wyo., Larry Alexander (Megan) of Kemmerer, Kelly Alexander (Tawny) of Tooele, Utah, and Tammy Floees (Gus) of Rock Springs.

Wanda was also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and also one cousin, Dennis Guthrie (Gretchen) of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant daughter, son Norman L. Moore, her brother Frank Kell and her twin brother Richard Kell.

A celebration of life service will be held at noon on July 31, 2010 at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer.
