SLMC board pres. is ‘Best on Board’

KEMMERER – South Lincoln Medical Clinic (SLMC) board of directors’ president Tammy Krell has achieved “Best on Board” certification.

According to Krell, the Best on Board program is not mandatory, but the state of Wyoming has adopted it and strongly suggests that all hospital board members take the online course. Krell further explained that the need for better training has been a topic at the yearly state board meetings and that the Best on Board program fills that need — a hospital board member needs to be knowledgeable in many areas and the training which takes several months covers all those areas.

Other SLMC board members are currently taking the course to improve the board’s overall efficiency.
