Lady Rangers volleyball winless at Border Wars

EVANSTON — The Kemmerer High School volleyball team competed at the Border Wars Tournament in Evanston over the weekend, playing hard, but posting an 0-8 record.

The Lady Rangers opened play Friday against Soda Springs, Idaho, falling 2-0 (25-19, 25-20). That was followed by losses to Manila, 2-0 (25-9, 25-19), Grace, Idaho, 2-0 (25-16, 25-13) and Rigby (25-16, 25-13).

Saturday, Kemmerer played the early match against Murray, falling 2-0 (25-23, 25-10), then lost to South Summit, Utah, 2-0 (25-8, 25-14) and North Summit, Utah, (25-13, 25-14). The Lady Rangers Closed out the tournament with a two-set loss to Uintah, 25-13, 25-12.

Kemmerer will look to get back on track this weekend, on the road at the Star Valley Invitational.
