Lightning storm causes nearby fires

The Bridger-Teton National Forest experienced multiple fire starts due to a lightning storm that passed over most of the Forest on Wednesday July 21. The Valley Evangelical Free Church was the location for a lunch on Saturday provided for the Bikers For Christ out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kemmerer All-Stars shot down in tournament

The Wyoming Litttle League State Tournament took place July 19-24 in Riverton. Competition at the state level was quite a bit more challenging for the Kemmerer All-Stars than the games they played earlier in the season. At their July 22 meeting, the Library Board of Directors approved a budget of $1,361,182 for operation of the Lincoln County Libraries in fiscal year 2011 (July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011).
